What areas do you cover?
Rogers Contracting services most of St. Lawrence County and much of Jefferson County as well. Most of our homes are built on the St. Lawrence River, Black Lake and neighboring towns. The majority of our homes are built between Ogdensburg, NY and Clayton, NY.
Do you offer financing or work with construction lenders?
While we don't offer financing ourselves, we can usually recommend a local bank to help with financing a home loan if you need it.
How long does it take to build a custom home from start to finish?
Every project is different, but most custom homes take several months to complete depending on the home's size, complexity, permitting, and weather conditions. We provide a realistic construction schedule before work begins.
How much does it cost to build a custom home with you?
The cost of a custom waterfront home depends on factors such as size, design, finishes, site conditions, and shoreline access. Every property is unique, so we provide detailed estimates based on your vision and your building site.
Do you build from your own plans, or can I bring my own design/architect?
Whatever you prefer. We can design a house for you using our own architects or you can provide your own design by a licensed architect that you choose.
Do I need to own land first, or can you help me find a lot?
While we are not real estate agents, we have several reliable agents that we work with in the St. Lawrence River area that we can recommend to help you find a lot if you don't have one.
